Terms and Conditions
The below terms and conditions relate only to the London office of Andrews Travel House, all instances that refer to Andrews Travel House are referring only to the London Office.
Andrews Travel House submits all applications the next working day, in some cases it may be possible to lodge them the same day, but this must first be confirmed by a member of our staff at least one day prior to the application. This may also incur extra fees depending on the service; you will be advised of this when when we confirm that the service is possible.
Andrews Travel House provides a comprehensive visa and passport service. We offer free advice, arrange the collection and delivery of documents from clients, and the collection and delivery of documents to the embassies/consulates/government offices concerned.
Andrews Travel House endeavours to keep abreast of all new passport and visa information, but from time to time countries may change their visa regulations/information and visa charges without prior notice. We will advise you of any changes as and when we are made aware of them. But we regret that we cannot be responsible for inconvenience or loss caused by any changes of which we are not aware, we reserve the right to pass on any increased charges.
Unless stated otherwise, all prices and processing times refer to UK passport holders; once we are made aware of your nationality we will be able to advise you more specifically.
Andrews Travel House can make assurances on all the efforts made by our staff but, we cannot take responsibility for the actions relayed to us by any embassies or government offices; we do not guarantee at any point a service that is offered by an embassy or government office as this is not guaranteed to us.
Although we will make the effort to check the details on the visas or passports issued to us, ultimatley it is up to the traveller to make sure any visas we have returned do contain the correct information. In the unlikely advent that an error has been made by a consulate or passport office; we will endevour to have this fixed as soon as we can but we will be bound by the timeframes given to us by the consulate or passport office and are not responsible for this or any consequntial financial loss due to this delay.
If you request Andrews Travel House to obtain a tourist invitation (also known as hotel confirmation and voucher) then we will do so on a basis of trust; that you will be staying in a hotel. If you choose not to stay in a hotel you may find it harder to notify the authorities (register the visa); in this situation Andrews Travel House will make every effort to help you but ultimately this will be your responsibility.
Andrews Travel House does not recommend that you book travel arrangements before your visa is issued, if you do this because your trip is imminent or as you need to prove your dates of travel you do so at your own risk; Andrews Travel House will not take responsibility for any costs incurred due to missed travel arrangements.
Andrews Travel House service charges are listed and no increase will be made once the current order form has been completed and received by us, providing it is the most recent version.
Andrews Travel House cannot take responsibility for deliveries to and from our office from a third party, i.e. royal mail, or a courier company; this is done at the clients own risk.
If we are requested to send documents back we will automatically use our preferred companies (unless an alternative is specifically requested). In the event that documents are mis-delivered we will endeavour to help if where we can, though it is important to note that once the documents have been collected they are then the responsibility of the carrier.
Royal Mail Special delivery will cover you for up to £500, and a courier for up to £50; this only covers replacing lost or damaged items at the lowest quote possible, you will not be covered for lost/cancelled flights, hotels etc… only for the direct costs of replacing the missing or damaged items; nothing consequential will be covered.
Andrews Travel House will charge you an additional £1.30 on top of Royal Mail's charge for our post and packing service.
Andrews Travel House will take instructions from the contact (as marked “Ordered by” in the contact details), the traveller or the card holder. Upon signing the form the card holder agrees to this. In the case that you/your company holds an account with us then we will take instructions from the contact (as marked “Ordered by” in the contact details), the traveller or the account holder (someone with a position of responsibility to make financial decisions on behalf of the company).
Unless an account has been arranged for you, all orders must be accompanied by a cheque, cash or credit card at the time of placing an order.
Andrews Travel House will only be able to lodge documents the next day if we receive before 16.00 the previous business day; if they arrive later than this we can make no guarantee that we will be able to lodge them the following morning.
